A hello and welcome!

Ciao! I thought that as my first blog post, it would make sense to write an introduction, as a sort of preview for what I will post on here, and to give you more of an insight into who I am and why I've decided to start blogging. First and foremost, the name I chose for this blog, "Makeup, twists and bakes", took me quite a while to think of but I wanted it to roughly describe the things which I will be posting. Makeup speaks for itself, and as I am passionate about makeup and doing my makeup, I knew this would be something that I'd like to include on here. I chose "twists" as a symbol of hairstlyes because ever since I can remember, I've always loved doing hairstyles on me or on my friends. Hint hint, "bakes" because I love food.... and eating, which maybe is linked to me being fully Italian so needless to say that my family are amazing cooks! Now a litte bit more about me, as mentioned I am fully Italian, but have lived in the UK for 13 years. I came to the UK when I was 5 so I'm turning 18 this year?!?! Say what?! As you will have probably guessed, I'm currenty at school and have 6 months left before secondary school is over.... quite a scary thought, especially since in September, I'll be going to University. Woah that's a scary concept. I thought starting a blog would be a good way to talk about the subjects which I'm passionate about, and not just school subjects, which I pretty much do on a daily basis. Enough about me, a quick insight into this blog. I will be posting about makeup products, tutorials, reviews, hairstyles for prom or for school, and recipes which I've made, or food I eat at restaurants!
