Braids!

Hi everyone!
Thought I'd post today about some hairstyles which I'm really enjoying lately! They are very summery since they look quite 'beachy' and not too put together, but you can dress them up too! Hope you enjoy and let me know if you try them out!

This hairstyle is very simple but very effective! All you need to do is part your hair down the middle and start 2 dutch braids on either side. Once they reach the crown of your head, join them together and tie them off. To make this a softer look, 'pancake' out the braids ie pull out the edges to make them bigger. In this picture I had straight hair but to make it fancier you can curl it too!

This is a similar hairstyle but I think it's a little bit 'edgier' with the plaited space buns. It starts in the same way as the previous hairstyle ie part your hair down the middle and start two dutch braids. When you get to the crown of your head, just finish off the plaits and keep braiding then tie them off. With the 'excess' braids, wrap them around into 2 buns and pin them in place. In this picture I was doing my friend's hair and we decided to plait it, which I think suits it best. This could also be a perfect hairstyle for a festival and you could glam it up with glitter in the parting etc!
