Prawn Spaghetti!
Hi everyone! So during the summer I've been cooking more often, at the comfort of my kitchen at home which makes it easier rather than the kitchen at University. Hence why I decided to make some prawn spaghetti for lunch because I just fancied it and I most definitely won't be cooking prawn when I go back to University so I thought I'd just do it now at home! It turned out so good and yummy! It really isn't very hard at all but I thought I'd share it with you anyway because it only requires a couple of ingredients and it's quite a treat! Enjoy and let me know if you try it out!
Ingredients for one serving:
- 80g spaghetti
- 100g cherry tomatoes
- 80g king prawns
- parsley
- salt
- olive oil
Method:
- Fill a pot with water and bring to the boil, adding coarse salt to the water
- put in the spaghetti and let cook and time roughly 9 mins after water starts boiling
- in another smaller pan heat up some olive oil, then add the halved/quartered cherry tomatoes with some salt. Let this heat up and start bubbling to create a night saucy consistency. Add the prawns in but don't leave them on for too long otherwise they become tough
- drain the pasta, and add the tomato and prawn sauce to the pasta, stirring well
- serve up with some fresh parsley and voilĂ !
Hope you like this recipe and try it out!
